Research Interests:
Quaternary Paleoecology and Geoarchaeology. I am
interested in the complex relationships between climate change and
landscape evolution. I am also interested in how these physical
changes have impacted human societies through time. My research
is interdisciplinary in nature and I am especially interested in
using geologic principles to help understand the archaeological
record. To date my research has focused on the northern Great Plains
and the Upper Midwest but I am always open to expanding my horizons.
